In our recent 99¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ 99¾«Æ·ÊÓƵletter, we announced the 99¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ Footy Tournament fixtures for the coming months. Well, the first match has now been played!

The 99¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ Support Hub team travelled to Foxfields on Friday 19th April. A great atmosphere commenced with music playing in the background, and here’s what happened…

Foxfields got off to a good start in the 5-a-side match scoring in quick succession. Lisa Lound from the Support Hub team then scored a hat-trick, but Foxfields goalkeeper, Dave Robertson made multiple good saves keeping Foxfields in front at 11-8. Dean Hopewell was on fire, being top scorer of the match, and Sarah Aspley and Kim Cassidy were both on the score sheet so that Foxfields could pull away to win the match 19-9.

All the players debriefed together afterwards with Foxfields opening their ‘Snack Shack’ for all to enjoy.

Foxfields will now travel to play Woodlands in their next fixture and 99¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ Support Hub will play Bingham.
